HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!!! MAKE MORE LOVE IN THIS BUNNY YEAR!!! REPRODUCE LIKE THE BUNNIES!! BUT FUCK RESPONSIBLY ALRIGHT!!!! =D

How's life for everyone? It's kinda good on my side. Collectively, i've been buying more and more things and branding myself without really knowing. And my gargets are getting more and more expensive!

My Chinese New Year was plain. No flamboyant crackers of red and gold, no clamour of the angry manjong and silent shuffling of poker cards that turn losers' face red, and of course, no vulgar questions from relatives ranging from relationship status to work to future plans like, eh, finding girlfriends and settling down a family. I swear i have rolled enough eyes many years down.

But! I had my lion's share of good food. With my own group of lovely family members, no less. Just a side thought, with all the discouraging act on not eating shark fins, why do we see shark fins on sale everywhere? And they are really quite cheap! Like, 60 bucks for a packet of instant shark fin soup (with crab meats, scallops.. the usuals) that feeds 4 people. *raise eyebrow*

Our attempt to fly a really huge shark kite. Failed. All we ever gotten was to let it float around in the sky feebly and headed back to the ground again. We tried so many times, waited so long for the wind to come, but nothing came. But we had a great loads of fun.

Chanced upon this odd creepy caterpillar underneath my block one day. Mummy says from her kampong experience, the sting will make one feel really itchy. So now you know, if you offend me one day, i will throw you into a room with a million caterpillar inside. *evil laughter*

Moving on. Kor brought me a rather huge ice cream cake as my belated birthday present. It was so heavenly. What thrilled me was the dry ice and i had so much fun throwing them into my pond and seeing my kois and goldfishes went crazy and fantic.

That's my stingray eying on my goldfishes. I always have this feeling my stingrays are always getting to prey on my goldfishes. Probably like, they are really jealous.

*bubble thoughts of stingray - Why am i so flat when they have huge watery anime eyes. And such cute movement that makes people goes ahhhhhh... *

And if you are thinking what do stingrays feed on, we give them frozen blood worms. And they really love it. I guess.



Next! Our late-night suppering around the neighbour. All divine being bless those who decided to extend their eateries working hours. It's such a great relief especially when you are hnungry in the middle of the night. And also the 24-hour Prime Supermarket near my house. It kills the boredom when i can't get to sleep.


On the way to the 24-hour hawker centre. Mummy looks really tired here. And my lips look like it belongs to a cancer patient!

Chinese New Year Decoration on the wall.

Ryan gave me many thousand years back. Saw it while i was digging my drawers for some other things. And i placed it on top of my fountain.

And and we brought a peach tree, which is one of the four representative of truely chinese spring, and one of the rarer in Singapore among the four. It was freaking expensive but it has such beautiful flowers.







And my beautiful pussy willow. It's a real plant. Not just the branches commonly sold outside.



And and and! While doing spring-cleaning (my god. Can never clear enough things in my house), i chanced upon the precious Lego set that i used to play on when i was a boy. And i remember how my brother will always destroy whatever that i've build up. Asshole.

Okay. And anyway, i made a signboard, a rather big one, to be place in my teaching room for my students to see!






It's kinda big and relatively heavy so i have no idea how am i going to hang it on the wall. =(

Alright. Got to teach at 6pm. =(

Good Gracious Me!!!

I have been so busy nowadays i don't even have time for my personal space. That reminds me that i haven't start shopping for christmas presents for my beloved ones as well as my students. And when i do have the time, my energy level got real low nothing was working. Sucks.

And anyway, this is gonna be a picture-filled entry. Less words, more graphic. =D

My Goldfishes.





And more about the water fountain in front of my door.
I brought this plant which has such fine-looking leaves and it looks so cute. I researched and found out the name is Asparagus Setaceus. God knows what that means.

And the tortoise pam pam gave me found it's home here. Sitting on a wooden log.


And my bird nest fern that's hanging on the wooden log too. My warned his girlfriend to not touch it because it's my favourite plant and i pay special attention to it everyday. HAHA.

I brought this against mummy's wish but it's just so flurry and furry. It's a kind of fern that doesn't need much sunlight which is ideal for corridor area.

Book this when it was going cheap at Jalan Bahar Pottery Farm. When i brought it, it was literally covered with a thick layer of dust. After washing and scrubing it twice, it's got sparkling clean and probably one of those buys that makes you feel like you have just gotten a good deal.

And i've also just set up a Koi pond in my balcony. We brought some kois from a neighbourhood aquarium shop. The kois aren't expensive. The pond itself is.

My favourite one is the golden whitish one. Sexy!

To go along with the festive seasons, we set up our annual christmas tree (different decorative ornaments though) in my teaching room. Instead of putting a star at the top of the tree, we put a huge santa instead!







I'm getting a bit distracted now because my brother just walked past with his heavily-straight-into-the-nose perfume.

*cough*

Okay. Back to blogging. Ah. We have a special guest that day. A really beautifully eerie looking caterpillar.




We went kite-flying some time ago. It was a total failure. There wasn't any wind and we have to resort to running a great deal. Got ourselves sweaty and drained with disappointment and the kite was still lying on the grass smiling at us graciously. Nevertheless, we had so much fun. Lesson learnt, don't attempt kite-flying unless there's a storm coming.

One day before my birthday. Met Royston and god knows where did a cake pop out from and it was a little celebration for my birthday. I swear i wasn't expecting anything of that sort. It was such a pleasant little surprise. Thanks!



Lastly, the one-day-trip of driving around the east. We went to the Changi Beach and random unknown places.

Anemone. A rather small one.

Dead Crab. Rest in Peace crabby.

These little crabs will hook their hind legs to a leave and hide underneath it. The rest of the legs will be used for walking. So what you see is actually a piece of walking leave. It's a common sight at the beach.

A filefish? Correct me if i am wrong. =x

Little lobsters of different colours. We spotted black, green, grey, red, orange and pale brown. Only managed to catch green and brown.

Shrimps. Check out the size of the black-and-white one. If i am to be born to be a shrimp in my next life, i will choose the latter. You can't go wrong with black-and-white colour. =D

Hermit Crab. The size of my palm. Maybe slightly smaller than that.

Drove along this long stretch of road right beside the runway of the airport. pulled over the car at the side and we got out of the car and camwhore a little. *cough*. And no, the car you see at the background wasn't what i was driving. I will never go for gold colour. It's just too.. uncle. The last photo was our family! Daddy was totally drained and he wasn't feeling too well. =(



Visited the plantation farms to get some more plants for myself last week! I love how untouched the huge piece of grass field they have there. I hope our dear government will just leave it alone.
