The so-called 'dessert' for today's lunch in camp was banana. Lots of them. It was a hot afternoon, heat piercing right through your skin and the sweat-strain uniform clinging on to my skin. Got myself a redbull drink from the vending machine to go with the badly cooked hor fun.

I had two bananas. It's redbull and 2 bananas. That was exactly what i had before my cello recital back last year. Well, for the person who prepared it for me back then, i just wanna say.... a very good thank you back then, and be happy now.

ahhh... I'm so fucking sleepy now. *stretch arms into the air in a lazy sloth-ish manner together with a roaring yawn*

Okay, as usual, photos. But not that outdated. =)

Went to Sentosa during the Chinese New Year period for the Light of Spring festival. I was eh... supposed to be taking photos of the lightings and laser effects and all... but i strayed to trying the DSLR function my camera and tadah, lots of unrelated pictures. But still, it's taken in Sentosa! =D

Oh, for your info, my camera is a combination of the normal digital camera plus the basic function of a professional camera (DSLR. No freaking idea what does it stand for anyway). I have never venture into the DSLR section of the camera and was always happy with what the digital camera can bring me.

UNTIL THAT DAY.......... *cue dark cloud and roaring thunderstorm sound*

eh... I got bored and decided to try it. =D

Most of you probably won't be able to tell the difference but with comparison with an image taken using the average digital camera, you will.

Anyway, back to the photos. =D


Lights of Spring 2010. How welcoming. I can't even stand at the same spot to take a photo of the banner without having ushers to urge me to move on rudely. Come on, we are not even in a queue or something. Was terribly pissed.

The walkway up to the Merlion. The lightings were totally beautiful.


This was taken using normal digital camera functions. And the photo below uses the DSLR function. =D



I know it's still a far cry from what people who loaded 238721231 lens into their bags and takes 1238721832 hours adjusting their toy just to get a perfect picture takes. But i'm still trying. At least i got the shutter speed right and tadah, the silky water flow.

Moving on. More water bodies.





And trying to capture water in action. Totally love to see water bubble and water droplets up into the air.









After all the walking around for the entire night, drained and tired, we rewarded ourselves to a nice bowl of ice kacang at 5 bucks per bowl which was freaking expensive. But it's such a cool kacang. Blue ice. And red bloody berry sauce on top.


Some wishing tree kinda thing. Never fail to earn a few bucks off little girls with big dream. Each slip of paper is selling at $2 each. It's totally madness many are still buying. Still, this note caught my attention. It says, "i want to be with my loved one forever".


And, your good friend, the Merlion, himself. The trademark of Sentosa. Many many thousands of photographers were worshipping with their million-dollars equippments.



At 9pm sharp, there was the Merlion light show. I was expecting something more grand than this, but undoubtfully it was a nice one.
