WHO IS MORE UNLUCKY THAN ME!

I think i am one of the unluckiest person around since i get all the shit all the time. Firstly, on my first day reporting to CMPB (got to know a keyboardist and a drummer who can beatbox. Damn cool. Both of them are from Lasalle), i was told that i will posted to the Changi Air Base the next day! I almost said F*** to the officier because Changi is the furtherest camp for anyone stay in Jurong West!

Travelling time?
Walk to Pioneer MRT: 10 minutes
Train to Tampines MRT: 57 minutes (morning train even slower!)
Bus from Tampines Interchange: 20 minutes
Walk from Bus stop into office: 20 minutes

With the morning jam and waiting time for bus, it can easily take up to 2 hours travelling time. I left my house at 5.45am yesterday morning and i reached my office at around 8.10am? (needs to reach at 8am sharp. 5 minutes late means 30 minutes of staying back after work) Sucks.

Secondly, I got my OT on my second day already! Asked to stay back to arrange chairs and sort out stuffs.

Thirdly, third day, OT too.

Lastly, I am fucking broke now. Like i am left with like 20 dollars plus some coins. Daddy have been nice enough to be always giving me money. Yesterday he even exchange EZlink card with me and it has like 80 bucks inside. I grew so tired after reaching home everyday i dont even wanna do anything.

I have very nice camp mates though. One of them is a fashion design from NAFA. And my office is right beside the Changi Airport runway (for Singapore Airline) and our own runway so i get to see Singapore Airline and many fighter planes landing and taking off.

On a more colourful note (i started to see everything in grey), some pictures i intended to post up before my enlistment but failed!

Belated Teacher's Day present

Teacher's Day present from Ying Ying and Jolene. A flower wrapped over a bottle of Sticky candies. The candy has 'thank you' wordings over it and it's really cute!

Evening Jog

Had been jogging in the stadium opposite my house every night. My highest record is to run 10 rounds without stopping. *proud cough* And anyway, i almost fainted one night and that was the night mummy brought water for me.

Anyway, last sunday i jogged in the evening instead because i have students coming at night. While cooling down, i was walking around taking pictures and people were staring at me like i was mad. =D

And so, nice pictures!

Algae. And it's only the size of my toe.

Spider.

Daylight Moth. Caught having sex!.... mating i mean.

Sentosa

Went to Sentosa with pam pam and qiqi last week before my enlistment. i have been bugging everyone about going to the Underwater World and they are kind enough to accompany me despite the fucking expensive ticket price! Love 'em man.

Took this on the bus. After alighting from the monorail, we need to take the blue line bus to the Underwater world. You dont know but i was very excited already. HAHA.

Sea turtle outside Underwater World and they are huge. Pam and qiqi was quening up for the ticket. I was busy snapping pictures. Anyway, it's $22.90 per entry! =(

Once we are inside, we kinda move together but were kinda too busy taking photo too. HAHA. I gotta admit my camera can't cope well with taking photos in dark places. It didn't turn out as good as taking in well-lit places. =(

This fellow is slimmer than your pencil. And apparently, they like to have their lower half of the body buried.

When i showed this picture to my friends, no one believes me the weeds are fake! It's plastic! Plastic! I swear!

Fucking cool with the lighting and all. You could see it glow and it's really beautiful. It would be much nicer if... he has friendlier eyes.

This is twice the size of my head (or bigger) and yet it's body can pass through a hole as small as 8cm! Congrats, next time if anyone bullshit to me i will stuff this into his or her mouth.

Clownfish and Sea Anemone. Do you know that a Sea Anemone contains a lot of water and that's what makes it big. Ask me how do i know that! Because i killed one before! We used to have salt-water aquarium tank at home and i tried lifting a anemone out of the water before. I was playing with it, and eh.. accidentally pressed it and it burst and there was water leaking out. I fantically threw it back into the water and it died 2 days later, shrinking into no bigger than my palm. It used to be like the size of my head.

Chio chio jellyfishes. Pam's favourite. =)

Us. Pam Pam, Qiqi and me in the underwater tunnel. That's me with super short army hair.

Video taken in the tunnel. Check out the gaint groupers. They are freaking huge. Yea. And check out qiqi's expression, my laughter and pam's laughter.

At the end of the tunnel, we had a pleasant surprise! It's the... Dugong the mermaid!

She never stopped eating. Eat and eat and eat... and eat..

Towards the exit, there was a take-a-photo session with the sea lion and it cost $15 for each photo. One of the staff there was tring to talk us into it. And seeing the hesitation-but-considering look on our face, 3 more came over and it gets annoying pam pam gave in. $15 bucks to take 1 photo with the sea lion, i would rather photoshop it or something.

With the green screen.

And voila! Done. Come to think about it, the sea lion isn't even interested. It is not looking at the camera at all the whole session.

And later on, after shopping around their soveniour shop, we found out that we have already missed the Dolphin show that starts at 3.30pm. So we have some time before the 5.30pm show, so off we go to the.... BUTTERFLY PARK!

On the way out, there's another take-a-photo session with a python and it cost $12 (or was it $14) for each photo. Now you know how do they make money in order to survive.

Female peacock hanging around us while waiting for the bus to come. Check out the chio green feathers around the neck area.

And finally...red line bus to the butterfly park! =D

Butterfly Park. Costed us $16 bucks to get in.

The moment we stepped in, we saw lots of parrots and macaws. It's like, woah. Makes you feel like you are in the bird park instead.

And you are probably right again. It's yet another booth for you take photo with the birds and yea, money again. Poor guy. Look at the bird on the left (HAHA) and the other one at his ear on the right. WTF. Check out his expression too. HAHA.

Interestingly, Pam pam attracts lots of them too! Over the entire stay there, 4 of them came different time and rest on her shoulder or her head, playing with her hair, or her sleeve or her bag strap. They are fucking adorable!

Only managed to take photos of 3 birds. I think the 4th one is a yellow one. Mummy says it's good to attract birds like this. It's either pam really smell really nice (or like food) or she's really lucky, because me and qi tried standing there for really long and none of them are interested in us. =(

Okay. Sorry. It's butterfly park. Not bird park. *cough cough*

Anyway! Butterflies!

Click for bigger view! CLICK CLICK!

I think this is the most beautiful butterfly in the entire park. Thing is, they always fly high up there and this is the nearest i can get. This pair was settling down on a leave on a tree. I had to climb up on the fence a little to get this picture.

And these are the ones that will not fly off no matter how real you get to them. Click on the pictures! You realise they are quite hairy... furry i mean.

Other birds that roam around the area....

A crowned pigeon!
And a rooster!

Up next, we went into a dark tunnel that exhibits the beetles and bugs and all. And i guess they can easily take a specimen and pass it off as an alive one because they are all not moving at all! It seems like all of them are dead. Okay fine. one bettle did moved. ONE!

Try this:
Try spotting 10 parrots on the tree. Some are in darker shade of blue. Good luck. =)

Moving on.

And lastly, the last stop for the day! The Dolphin Lagoon!

Took this while waiting for the bus to come.

We took this bus which i think, was meant for a tourist group to board. It's all ang moh inside, and there was a tour guide. We stupidly went in when we hear the tour guide annoucing 'this will bring you to Doplhin Lagoon' with a welcoming smile. Nevertheless, it's a cool ride because we went to the roof-less second level and was awarded with a better view of the sentosa.

The doplhin lagaoon. Where the audience are being seated.

Me and pam pam. Totally bored and feeling hot sitting in the tent fanless and air-conless.

Pink Dophlin. Jumping through the ring. It's so typical. I think the show was okay-okay. I frowned a little when they get the doplhin to kiss a hairy guy from India. Apparently no one else dares to go deep into the water to neck level except him who wants to wet himself. *shrug*

After the show, we went to the Siloso Beach for a romantic evening walk! (it's actually because too many people were trying to squeeze into the bus)

Okay. Time to prepare for jogging later. =D

Wish me luck for my NS life!

P/S - For those who do not know, i'm working as a clerk (8am to 5.30pm) in the air force because my PES status is PES E. Some heart problem and probably some mental problem is coming too. =(
